We Are the Labourers
We travelled across British Columbia to film the men and women of the LiUNA Local 1611 labourers doing what they do best: build this great province.
As part of their Feel the Power campaign, we captured the wide range of work that their union members are part of.
From highway work to nursing homes, railways to first aid, this video production took us to many diverse and interesting places, to say the least.
We’re proud of the end result of this project, and continue to be impressed by the dedication to each of their respective crafts that is showcased here.

We are one of the most diverse unions in North America.
Our members work in construction, health care, security, parking, landscaping, rail, dock and shipyard, mining, warehousing and much, much more. These are just a few of our 10,000+ members doing amazing work.
