Disability Foundation Programs Series
Community For All
We had the task of creating videos for each of the six programs that the Disability Foundation runs in Vancouver: VAMS, BCMOS, ASABC, DIGA, TETRA and ConnecTra.
These programs offer activities that many might think are out of reach for people with disabilities. Things like hiking, or playing instruments - even sailing on the open ocean!
We sat down with the people behind the programs to get the word out about each of these amazing offerings, so that others who may feel isolated or alone can find their community and have an outlet to experience joy in their lives.
We won’t soon forget the passion and enthusiasm we felt from everyone we had the pleasure of interviewing for this inspiring project.
From Disability Foundation:
We envision a world where people with physical disabilities feel empowered and inspired to redefine what is possible.
The Disability Foundation, in supporting our affiliated societies, has been fostering meaningful experiences for people with disabilities through outdoor recreation, social connectedness and innovative adapted devices – for more than 35 years, from Metro Vancouver, throughout B.C. and across Canada.
Along with our supporters and volunteers, we’ve helped to enrich and change lives.
